"Classic Game"

I'm not really a fan of metal music, but Mega Man X was one of my favorite games as a kid.

The song is pretty well done. It has good balancing, and it's not just a midi rip of the song, as many "remixes" are. The one thing I would say to work on would be the transitions from songs. They're not bad, they're just OK.

"Gets Repetitive : /"

The tune grabbed me right from the beginning. I really like the chord progression, and I thought the synth playing it was really cool sounding.

However, from then on it just seemed to repeat. I thought that it was going to be the background melody, since it was so loud and full in both ears, but no other melodies came in. It really could have used a bass and a countermelody or melody to go with it.

Good intro, but it gets boring afterwards.

(+) Great Samples used for Drums
(+) Great use of audio clips, they weren't annoying as they are in many songs.
(+) Catchy tune
(+) An extra point for keeping me listening for at least 2+ loops.
(+) All of the synthesizers really seemed to blend in well together.

My favorite part was the piano trill. :D

"Itsame, Mario! (64 sound-a-like)"

If it's not the song, it sure feels like the water level music from Super Mario 64. It was very relaxing to listen to.

The piano didn't blend in very well, to be honest, but I liked the tune it was playing. Nice work on this, :D

"Soothing"

So, do you play the piano or another instrument?

You're a good composer. What kind of music theory have you taken?

This works perfectly for the theme you chose. I'm not really a morning person, but it does remind me of beginning old school games like Link to the Past and Pokemon (blue version :P) where you wake up and everything is happy.

"Needs w"

I thought that many of the sounds in this were too raw. There didn't seem to be much balancing, and none of the instruments fit well. You had a choir, breakbeat drums, an acidy bass, and some strange synth for the melody.

However, the song has potential. The tune was kind of catchy. The main synth reminds me a bit of Megaman X.

Also, it loops well, but if you don't listen to it as a loop, the song ends a little abruptly.

"Love the atmosphere."

In a filled in, extra-long song like this one, it's the little things that matter, because when you have the same things playing, they stop becoming the song, and start becoming the atmosphere.

You did a great job at putting these in, and I loved the minor third playing every measure (C + Eb I think). A song like this needs someone who provides, and you certainly do. It has some background sounds that sound just awesome where they're placed. The high pitched, low volume screeching sound, mini drum rolls, etc. are all what make this song such a great song.

I dont' know if it was the difference between the song I just listened to, or just the great balancing you did on this, but this sounded really full in my new headphones. There was a weird chopping sound at 1:14 though, which came out of nowhere.

I love that background synth that's playing 4 notes every measure, it sounds sweet, and probably made the song in itself. I did feel the ending could use a lot of work though. It didn't sound great, and it seemed like the music just stopped. All in all, a good song though. 9/10, 5/5.

The badgers dance perfect to this song. :P

This is one of the first times I've heard about 'happy hardcore,' and it's certainly an interesting genre, I'll tell you that.

Well anyway, it was very pleasing to the ears. Good EQing, and addicting drums. It sounds like it set up to be one of those tunes that just sticks in your head after a while. But the main synth didn't really let it happen. A more square-saw sound would probably get the job done.
